    The leader of the indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB) has on Wednesday, May 31, celebrated the success of the sit-at-home exercise ordered by the group with a Biafra cake.

    The leader of the indigenous people of Biafra(IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu , on Wednesday, May 31, celebtated the success of the sit-at-home exercise, which took place in the south-eastern part of the country.

   The event which took place in Nnamdi Kanu’s home town in Isiama Afara Ukwu, Umuahia in Abia State was said to be celebrated on Wednesday. The celebration was held by the IPOB leader with a cake cutting session, as he was filled with joy at the level of Compliance of the people to the protest.

 He said, “ this is the best thing that has happened in history, in fact, he called it epic and historic.” A source said.

     He was also quoted saying “God bless you all. This is your victory! It is the victory of the cause of freedom in every land. In all our long history, we have never seen a greater day than this. Everyone, man or woman, has done their best.”

“ Everyone has tried. Neither the long years, nor the dangers, nor the fierce attacks of the enemy, have in any way weakened the inbending resolve of the Biafra nation. God bless you all.” I celebrate this day with you all, Kanu said.

The IPOB claimed also that 75 countries around the world joined them in observing the sit-at-home protest.
