   ALHAJI BALARE MUSA is the former governor of Kaduna State and he is known to be the poorest ex-governor ever in Nigeria. But his he really poor?, let’s find out below’

     1. He has been into politics for over 38 years alongside a crusader and has been fighting for a new order call in the nation.
  2.He was impeached as governor in 1979, and in 1990 he joined the social democratic party known as SDP, a political party founded in General Ibrahim Babangidas regime.
       3.  He opposed the annulment of june 12 presidential election in 1993 which was won by Chief M.K.O Abiola.
       4.He protested with Chief Chukwuemeka odumegwu and Muhammadu Buhari against the flawed 2003 elections held in Abuja.
        5.He has been in the front line protesting, agitating, and criticizing the establishment of unpopular programmes and policies.
        6. He was born to the district head of kaya, a village in Giwa Local Government area of kaduna state in 1938.
        7.He joined politics in 1979 immediately after his retirement leading to his election as governor of kaduna state.
           8,  He has a three bedroom flat and a monthly pension of N741,000 a 1,200 hectare of land for farming and an old Mercedes Benz car are all he got has his possession.
          9,  He was ex Chief Accountant of the Broadcasting company of Northern Nigeria (BCNN) and one of the first set of Chartered Accountants in Northern Nigeria.

     At 80+, the ex-governor still drives himself around the city with no escorts and unnecessary sirens.
No government monument, nor public infrastructure has been named or made after him in Kaduna State . How I wish most of our leaders are like this. LOL
